Have Juice, Will Travel Part 1

Have Juice Will Travel Part 1 My good friend Ryan (also a health coach) and I have been on a journey this month to rebalance our bodies for the new year. It involves tons of juices and whole foods. It has truly been an amazing and life altering experience. I hope to launch a this cleanse with a few adjustments to my clients this spring. This cleanse will help you not only rebalance your system but transform your body and mind in just 30 days. The results are incredible and you will never look at food the same. But back to my travels with juice. Traveling with fresh press juice can be difficult however I have found a great way that makes it easy. Since most places except NYC and California don’t have places to get fresh green juice we have to make other arrangements. Some people opt to take their juicers, others just make extra juice for their travels, then there are those who just skip the juicing all together when they are traveling. I hate to travel with the juicer because once I get to my destination I just like to enjoy my time, not grocery shop or clean up a juicer. I don’t like to skip the juicing because they give me vibrant energy, prevents me from eating junk and keeps me focused on my health. So I like to travel with my green juices. One of the issues with traveling with juice is the loss of enzymes. Fresh is always better but if you can’t frozen juice can be your friend. Yes you will lose some enzymes but having frozen juice is better than not having any. My juice however was made with a Norwalk juicer so therefore retains all its vital enzymes. The other issue with traveling with juice is transport. What containers to use and the actual traveling? I have tried many things over the years and have looked into how others do it. Some use frozen ziplock bags, others reuse old plastic bottles and some use glass mason jars. What all these techniques have in common is that there are pros and cons to all of them. Zip lock bags tend to leak, plastics are just bad and I try to avoid the, mason jars are heavy and something can break when frozen. I have found a great solution to traveling with green juice, BABY MILK BOTTLE LINERS! These are BPA free, freeze well, hardly leak, and cheap. They hold juice very well and are easy to freeze and defrost. They work so well.
